Wild Bunny Rabbit

I see quite of few wild bunnies hopping about in our yard. This young one is nibbling on some clover near the vegetable garden. Caught this with a 200mm zoom. I think this may be a baby of the one that was eating the artichoke leaves!

Wascally Wabbit in the garden

This little rabbit has eaten the leaves off of the artichoke plants. I put chicken wire around them to save what leaves were left. Hopefully they will grow back.

It's an Artichoke!

This is first artichoke this year. It's about 3 inches. Not as big as California artichokes, but hey... a Prairie Artichoke.

Artichokes are back

Looks like three plants made it through the prairie winter. Hopefully they will be big enough to eat this year.
